Delaware, Ohio · Youth Football

Two Seasons.
One Team.

Spring 7v7 keeps it fast and non-contact. Fall tackle is the real thing: full pads, certified gear, and games that matter. Both programs are volunteer-run and built to develop kids, not just win games.

Why Play

Skills That Stick

Football teaches more than blocking and catching. Kids learn to compete, lose, pick themselves up, and trust their teammates. That stuff follows them off the field.

Fundamentals

Blocking, tackling, routes, footwork, and reading the field. Coaches build the foundation from day one.

Teamwork

No one wins alone. Kids figure that out fast when every play depends on every player doing their job.

Sportsmanship

Respect for coaches, teammates, and opponents. It's a rule here, not a suggestion.

Community

Jr Pacers represent Delaware. Players wear that every time they take the field.

Equipment Pickup Day

Every tackle player must bring two documents to Equipment Pickup Day. A Jr Pacers board member verifies age and grade on the spot before handing out gear.

Proof of Age

Bring your athlete's birth certificate. They won't keep the original, but they may photograph it to build the player's profile folder for officials.

Proof of Grade

Bring a grade card or official school document. They may photograph the player alongside it to complete the profile.

OHSAA Physical Required

Every tackle player must complete an OHSAA physical performed by a licensed medical professional before the first practice on July 31. No physical, no practice. No exceptions.

Download the official OHSAA Pre-Participation Physical Evaluation form and bring it to your doctor's appointment.
